Route 42 Reopens After Suspect Plunges Out Hotel Window: Report
Route 42 in Deptford was briefly closed on Thanksgiving Day due to police activity. According to NBC10, the man jumped from the second floor of the Fairfield Inn on the 100 block of Hurffville Road and led officers on a foot pursuit. An officer shot the suspect, who was struck by the gunfire but continued to run, police said. Two people were hospitalized after a stabbing and a house fire in Bridgeton, authorities said. Bridgeton police responded to a 27-year-old man who arrived at Inspira Hospital on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 5, the department said in a news release. One Hospitalized In Early-Morning 3-Car Crash In Camden County, Firefighters Say
One person was hospitalized in an early-morning crash in Camden County Wednesday, Sept. 25, firefighters said. The Lawnside Fire Department responded to the crash, along with Magnolia Fire Co. Squad 29, at approximately 5 a.m., the LFD said on Facebook. Photos show that the crash happened along Route 30, outside of the Lawnside Commons on Route 30 and involved a pickup truck and two other vehicles. One patient was transported to the hospital by Magnolia Ambulance Corps, according to the LFD. All lanes had reopened as of 8:30 a.m.

A 59-year-old boater was hospitalized after being struck by the propeller of a boat after being ejected from his own and sucked under water in Ocean County over Labor Day Weekend, police said. A man was hospitalized after he was hit by a pontoon boat's propeller in Cape May County, authorities said. A state police spokesperson said the 51-year-old man fell off the front of the pontoon when it hit a large wake in Lower Township at around 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. The propeller gashed open the man's stomach and one of his arms. He was rushed to a nearby hospital. The man was expected to survive his injuries, police said.

A Pleasantville man shot a woman before he died by suicide, authorities said. Pleasantville police responded to a domestic violence report at a home on South Third Street at around 4:05 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release.
