Support is on the rise for a 25-year-old Atlantic County man and former US Navy sailor who was left with critical injuries in a hit-and-run crash, which also killed his dog. Syed Hoque and his dog, Duca, were struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday, Nov. 30, in Absecon, authorities said. The crash occurred shortly after midnight at Highland Boulevard and Marlborough Avenue, where Duca was tragically killed. A man and his dog were struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday, Nov. 30, in Atlantic County, authorities said. Police ID Motorcyclist, 59, Killed In Atlantic County Crash
Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in an Atlantic County crash this weekend as a 59-year-old man. Joseph Stetser, of Absecon, was ejected from his 2006 Harley Davidson after hitting a guardrail on East Moss Mill Road near Sander Place around 12:15 a.m. Sunday, June 23 in Galloway, local police said. An Atlantic City man was indicted in the death of a teen pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash in Absecon, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 52-year-old Everette Williams on Tuesday, June 4, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release.
