A jury convicted 43-year-old Frank Natanni on Wednesday, Nov. 13, Gloucester County Prosecutor Elizabeth Vogelsong-Parvin said in a news release. Investigators said Natanni was the child's neighbor and coach at the time of the assaults.
Natanni's first criminal complaint in 2020 accused him of hugging, kissing, and cuddling the victim, along with sending sexual text messages, NJ Advance Media previously reported. He was then given additional charges, claiming he touched the victim’s genitals in 2019 and 2020.
Natanni was convicted of second-degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, as well as third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact.
Natanni will face up to 25 years, 10 of which would be under the No Early Release Act. He'll also have to register as a sex offender and receive lifetime parole supervision.
A sentencing date hasn't been announced as of press time.
