Motorcyclist, 28, Killed In Route 287 Crash A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Whitehouse Station was killed in a crash on Route 287 in Bridgewater on Thursday, June 27, authorities said. At 7:36 p.m., a Yamaha motorcycle driven by Mazen Alnaser was traveling north on Route 287 when it exited the roadway to the left and struck a guardrail, ejecting him, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.  Alnaser's motorcycle then continued north and struck the back of a Madza, Marchan said. Alnaser was pronounced dead at the scene, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

Ryan Woodstead was heading south on Route 23 in Montague on his Yamaha motorcycle when he collided with a Chrysler Pacifica making a lefthand turn, around 5:20 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. Woodstead, of Highland Lakes, was thrown from his bike and died, near milepost 52, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.

Mayrant, of Bloomfield, was riding on Bloomfield Avenue when his Yamaha YZF collided with an Audi Q5 at High Street in Glen Ridge around 4 p.m., Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II and Glen Ride Police Chief Sean Quinn said. Mayrant was taken to University Hospital, Newark, where he was pronounced dead at 4:45 p.m. No charges have been filed against the Audi driver.
