Mystery Solved: Report Of Child In Car Trunk Was More Or Less True, Police In Bergen Find 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: An eyewitness report of a child climbing into the trunk of a woman's car over the weekend in the Pascack Valley area of Bergen County was at least partially true, it turns out. It wasn't an 8-to-10-year-old child who got into the trunk of a sedan on a Washington Township street with the assistance of a woman in her mid-30s, as the "witness" reported. It was a couple of teenagers. The mystery was solved by detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office using automated license-plate readers and township police. Maywood Patient, 80, Ambulette Driver Injured In Washington Township Crash An 80-year-old Maywood patient and an ambulette driver were hospitalized following a collision with a pickup truck in Washington Township, authorities said. The Metro Ambulance out of Hackensack was headed east on Washington Avenue when it collided with the westbound Nissan Frontier at Meisten Street near Seasons restaurant and catering hall shortly after 10:30 a.m. Monday, township police Lt.
