Tornado Watch Issued Across 16 New Jersey Counties
The National Weather Service on Thursday afternoon issued a tornado watch across 16 New Jersey counties. The watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. across Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties. The watch -- less severe than a warning -- was also issued for most of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Storms were expected to arrive between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., and end between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Straight-line winds, large hail, lightning and flash flooding are also possible.

NJ Martial Arts Studio Owner Placed Hidden Camera In Bathroom, Prosecutor Says
The 31-year-old owner of a martial arts studio was arrested on accusations he placed a camera inside of a bathroom and filmed members of the public and students who used it, authorities said Wednesday. Leonardo Sanchez of Somerville -- who owns Impact Martial Arts in Warren -- was arrested March 19 and charged with third-degree Invasion of privacy, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said. While a mix of ice, snow and freezing rain is expected to coat the region Monday evening, another storm comprised of mainly snow could be just days away, meteorologists say. Freezing rain was likely to start falling around 6 p.m., with northwestern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania expected to get the most ice accumulation, according to the National Weather Service. Thousands of New Jersey residents were still without power Monday, six days after Tropical Storm Isaias hit the region. Winning $50K Lottery Ticket Sold In Somerset County
A winning New Jersey Lottery ticket was sold in Somerset County. A ticket matching four of the five white balls and the Powerball for the Wednesday, July 22 drawing was sold at Kings Food Market on Mountain Boulevard in Warren. The winning numbers were: 16, 25, 36, 44, and 55. The Red Power Ball was 14, and the Multiplier number was 03. The lucky winner will take home the $50,000 third-tier prize. Keith Kuzmenko died on Feb. 9 at his home in Warren. He was 27 years old. Born in New Brunswick, Keith worked as an electrician with Atlantis Electric in Somerset. Keith was on the wrestling team and graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren, his obituary says. Keith enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and working out. Keith was predeceased by his mother, Mildred Casellini Tagman, and grandmother, Patricia Ryan.
