A Newark man stopped for a violation in Warren County was found with nearly 300 ecstasy and Oxycodone pills as well as a loaded handgun, authorities said.
Kalif A. King-Williams, of South 12th Street, was stopped on Route 22 East near the Two Brothers Diner in Lopatcong around 4:15 p.m. on July 10, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a release Friday.

Phillipsburg Man, 20, Charged With Sexual Assault, Child Endangerment
A 20-year-old Phillipsburg man was being held in the Warren County Jail on charges of sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal sexual contact, authorities said.
Taylor J. Miller was arrested Monday, June 21 on second-, third- and fourth-degree charges, respectively, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said.
Miller, of Shultz Avenue, is accused of engaging in sexual penetration and sexual contact with a child he had known previously between February and March of 2021, Pfeiffer said.

Two longtime math teachers at Phillipsburg High School — one the head wrestling coach and the other a teachers’ union official — were arrested Monday for attempting to illegally influence a tenure vote, Pennlive.com reports.
