$50K Powerball Ticket Sold At North Jersey Convenience Store
A Powerball ticket good for $50,000 was sold in Warren County. The ticket from the Saturday, Sept. 7 drawing was sold at the In & Out Convenience Store on Baltimore Street in Phillipsburg, lottery officials said. The numbers from Saturday's Powerball drawing were 14, 34, 37, 55, and 63. The Power Ball was 20.

Phillipsburg Man Used 3D Printer To Manufacture Handgun, Ammo: Prosecutor
A 40-year-old Phillipsburg man is facing charges for using a 3D printer to manufacture a firearm and ammunition, authorities said. A search of Michael Weaver's home on Monday, Aug. 26, turned up two 3D printers, a 9mm handgun, thousands of rounds of multi-caliber ammunition, and equipment to manufacture such ammunition, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said. Weaver has been charged with manufacturing a firearm using a 3D printer; unlawful possession of a weapon; and certain person not to have a weapon or ammunition.

Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Warren County: Police
A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Warren County on the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 16, authorities said. At 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to Route 22 West and South Third Street after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, Lopatcong Police said. A crash on Route 521 in Warren County has closed all lanes on Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said. The crash occurred on Route 521 at Exit 12 by Dogwood Road and Blairstown Road in Hope Township, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. All lanes are closed and the exit ramp has also been closed as police remain on scene, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. Emails have seen sent to the Blairstown Police Department and Warren County Prosecutor's Office requesting additional information.

A 52-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested for the second time in recent days, this time in Warren County, once again a fake ID to open a bank account, authorities said. A 46-year-old Florida man pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Aug. 6 to sexually assaulting a 6-year-old in Warren County in 2018, authorities said. Cameron Scrudato pleaded guilty to sexual assault prior to the completion of his trial, Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione, Acting Chief of Detectives Brenton Warne, and Phillipsburg Police Department Police Chief Robert Stettner said. Prosecutors will recommend a 10-year sentence for Scrudato, authorities said.

At 8:09 a.m.,, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 46 in White Township when it collided with a black bear that entered the lane of travel, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State police said. Two people were injured in a four-car crash involving multiple trucks on Route 80 in Warren County on Thursday, July 18, authorities said. At 10:47 a.m. on I-80 eastbound in Hardwick Township, a crash occurred between a tractor-trailer, two Ford pickup trucks and a Toyota sedan, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Two drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Tractor Trailer Driver, 22, Airlifted In Route 80 Crash
The driver of a tractor trailer was airlifted to the hospital in a Route 80 crash early Friday, July 12 in Warren County, police said. The 22-year-old Lodi, CA man was heading east when he ran off the left side of the roadway, struck the guardrail, went into a ditch, and collided with a tree just after 6:40 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. James Pfeiffer, who abruptly retired as Warren County Prosecutor in April, has filed a lawsuit claiming he was unlawfully removed from the position. A 34-year-old Port Murray man was recently arrested and charged after he fired a gun nine times in Warren County on Friday, May 24, authorities said. A loose dog was a little overzealous on Route 80 in Warren County on Tuesday, May 28, authorities said. Troopers responded to a report of a dog running on Route 80 eastbound in Allamuchy Township, Jeffrey Lebron a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. When troopers and civilians tried to capture the dog, they were bitten, Lebron said. The troopers and civilians suffered minor injuries, Lebron said. The dog was captured and turned over to nearby animal control, Lebron said.

Two children were injured after a car crashed into a tree on Route 80 in Warren County on Monday, May 27, authorities said. At 10:08 p.m., a Toyota vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Knowlton Township when the driver lost control, ran off the roadway and struck a tree, Sgt. Hackettstown Man Sexually Assaulted 15-Year-Old: Prosecutor
A 33-year-old Hackettstown man was arrested and charged on Thursday, May 23 with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old, authorities said. Matthew Canavan was identified as the suspect by Independence Township Police and charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of criminal sexual conduct and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said. Two people were killed, including a 12-year-old child, in a crash on Route 78 in Warren County on Wednesday night, May 22, authorities said. At 11:23 p.m., a Lincoln passenger vehicle traveling east on Route 78 in Greenwich Township entered the right shoulder and crashed into the back of an international tractor semi-trailer, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, said.
