Vehicle Overturns In Woods Off Route 80: Njsp A driver was hospitalized after his vehicle overturned on Route 80 in Morris County on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 10, authorities said. The driver of a Nissan Rogue lost control of his vehicle while driving on Route 80 East in Mount Olive Township, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The car veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned into the woods, Marchan said. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said.  The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

Driver, 44, Airlifted When Vehicle Overturns On Route 78: Njsp A 44-year-old Cranford man was airlifted to a nearby hospital after his vehicle overturned on Route 78 in Hunterdon County on the evening of Sunday, April 28, authorities said. At 7:07 p.m., a GMC SUV was traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Union Township when the driver lost control, ran off the roadway and overturned, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.  The man sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Driver, Passengers Avoid Serious Injury After Car Flips In Hunterdon County [Photos] A sedan driver and passengers miraculously avoided serious injuries after the car overturned in Hunterdon County Wednesday afternoon. The West Amwell Fire Company rushed to the crash scene on Mt. Airy Harbourton Road in Lambertville around 2:30 p.m. Emergency crews ensured “within minutes” that all occupants had safely escaped the overturned vehicle, the fire company said. Meanwhile, additional members worked to secure the vehicle’s battery and clean up a fluid leak. Car Avoiding Dead Deer Overturns On Route 80 East In Parsippany Traffic backed up on the eastbound side of Route 80 around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday as responders worked to clear a deer carcass and overturned vehicle. The right lane was closed at Exit 43 to I-287 after the car flipped in an attempt to avoid the deceased animal, drivers said. Injuries were unknown and minor delays were being reported.
