In particular, an area in the southwest Caribbean has a high chance of development, according to an update Friday morning, Nov. 1 by the National Hurricane Center, rating the chance at 70 percent. NJDOL Division of Wage and Hour Compliance investigators found that workers deployed by Pike Electric Inc. of Mount Airy, N.C., were paid less than the rate required by the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act during the recovery efforts.
