Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car On Route 15 A 78-year-old man died after being struck by a car in Morris County Monday afternoon, authorities said. A vehicle heading northbound on Route 15 in Jefferson Township struck Wilson Noriega near the intersection with Taylor Road just before 2:15 p.m., police said. Noriega, of Wharton, was pronounced dead at the scene. Route 15 north was shut down for several hours following the incident.
