Sedan Overturns Outside Haworth School A 24-year-old driver from Cresskill refused medical attention Friday afternoon after his sedan struck a parked vehicle and rolled outside Haworth Public School. Officer Kevin McKeary was directing traffic when he saw the Subaru sedan head west on Haworth Avenue through the Valley Road intersection, hit the Subaru SUV and land on its roof, Lt. Justin Fox said. McKeary rushed over and assisted the driver, Fox said. The crash occurred at 11:01 a.m. on Bordentown Avenue near the entrance to the Sayreville Soccer Complex, according to Sayresville Capt. Daniel Plumacker. The driver of a Hyundai Elantra, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Plumacker said. A motorcyclist traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Route 57 was struck by a John Deere tractor towing a P-7000 corn planter just before 7 p.m. May 13 in Washington Borough, WRNJ reports. The tractor was headed westbound on Route 57. The motorcyclist, a 55-year-old man from Phillipsburg, transported to Hunterdon Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation.
