(nee Chatzidakis), London was about to begin her sophomore year of Lenape High School. She was an excellent student who was a favorite with all of her teachers. Morris County is mourning Morris Hills High School graduate Tyler Richard Scerbo, a standout track and field athlete who died at his college home in Ithaca, New York on Wednesday, August 16, his obituary says. Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal Somerset County crash as a 23-year-old high school graduate and track star. Mario Heslop, of New Brunswick, was behind the wheel of a 2013 Infiniti Q50S heading eastbound in the left lane of Hamilton Street when he crossed the centerline around 5:30 p.m. in Franklin Township on Monday, June 19, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. A 25-year-old New Jersey track star was shot and killed while behind the wheel of a vehicle Monday, Oct. 10, authorities said. Daveigh Brooks, of Ewing, was found having suffered gunshot wounds in the driver's seat of a black Ford fusion parked in the middle of Greeley Alley in Trenton around 9:25 p.m., Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. A teenager from the Jersey Shore was hospitalized after being impaled by a javelin at a track-and-field event, authorities said. Firefighters in Toms River were called to cut the javelin without vibration before taking the victim to the hospital, initial reports said. A record-breaking Madison High School track and field star suffered a freak accident in which his left leg required an amputation. RJ Graddy (Class of 2011) severed an artery in his leg in the incident, which happened in Austin, Texas -- where he is currently living, according to a GoFundMe page.
