Even Bigger Walmart Coming To Roxbury's Ledgewood Mall Walmart in Roxbury will close next month as demolition begins, making way for an even bigger Supercenter projected to open next fall, the DailyRecord reports. The pharmacy will close April 26 and transfer prescriptions to the Flanders store in Mount Olive, and the store itself will close May 10. The new 170,000-square-foot mall will be 50,000 square feet larger than the current facility, which opened in 1999, the report says.
