NJ McDonald's Customer Burned By Scalding Tea, Lawsuit Says A woman is suing a McDonald's in Morris County claiming she suffered severe burns from their hot tea in January 2022. Stacey Crisman, a Kenvil resident, says in the suit that an employee at the McDonald's at 249 Route 10 East in Succasunna did not properly close the lid on a cup of tea, causing scalding hot tea to spill all over Crisman, according to the lawsuit.  The effects  of the have been severe on Crisman, who said she "has lost the enjoyment of life," according to the lawsuit. The Roxbury Mall's movie theater will be closing Sunday less than three years after taking over at the Route 10 location. "We would like to thank everyone who has visited this theater over the years, and we hope that you continue your support of cinema-going after we are gone," the theater said on its website. Any unused tickets must be refunded by Jan. 5. The theater urged the public to head to its newly-renovated theater in Hackettstown, which will remain open.
