Massive Car Fire Expands To Sussex County Home [Photos] Fire crews in Sussex County were quick to douse a massive car fire that spread to a nearby home Sunday evening.  The Byram Township firefighters responded to the blaze in the Brookwood section of town and confirmed that the fire had spread to the adjacent home around 4:40 p.m., the department said. Crews worked together to stretch a line and begin fire suppression efforts while checking the structure’s interior and initiating smoke remediation.
