A 27-year-old Middlesex County man was shot in Haledon over the weekend, authorities confirmed. A 14-year-old was wounded in the first of two shootings in Paterson just hours apart, authorities said. Police in Morris County are investigating a shooting at a Route 46 motel. A male who had been shot in the leg was found at the Roxbury Motel by responding officers around 8:55 p.m. on Oct. 18, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. A car fire on a New Jersey roadway has been linked to the shooting of two Philadelphia police officers that left one dead on Thursday evening, Oct. 12, authorities said.
