State Police: Mustang Driver Strikes Median, Guardrail In Morris County Route 80 Crash A Ford Mustang driver was injured after veering off Route 80 in Morris County Friday morning, state police said. The driver veered off the eastbound lanes to the left before crashing into the center median and hitting the right guardrail at milepost 28.8 in Roxbury Township just before 6:05 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash, Goez said. All lanes had reopened by 7 a.m., Goez said. The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.

Troopers were pursuing the vehicle on the eastbound highway -- apparently beginning in Wayne -- when it veered off at Exit 56A in Woodland Park, they said. 5 Hospitalized In Route 80 Crash A driver and four passengers were hospitalized after their sedan crashed Saturday on Route 80, authorities said. The group was headed eastbound when the driver lost control of the Volkswagen Jetta in Totowa between the Minnisink and Squirrelwood road exits around 10:30 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. The sedan slammed the left guard rail, injuring all of the occupants, Peele said. None of the injuries appeared life-threatening, he added.
