Safe With $30K-$40K Cash, Blank Checks Stolen From North Jersey Convenience Store
Police are seeking the public’s help identifying the suspect vehicle in the theft of a safe containing $30,000 to $40,000 cash from a North Jersey gas station earlier this week. The burglary occurred at the Morris Plains Liberty Gas & Convenience store at 1799 Rt. 10 East between 3:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. Tuesday, Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon said. Officers responding to the burglary confirmed the theft of the safe, which also contained blank business checks. Police: Belligerent Paterson Man Threw Rocks At Passing Cars On Route 10
A Paterson man who was caught throwing rocks and debris at passing vehicles on Route 10 acted belligerent toward police during his arrest, authorities said. William Gemberling, 57, was seen throwing rocks and other debris at vehicles near the First Presbyterian Church on Route 10 in Whippany Sept. 3, Hanover Police Chief Mark D. Roddy said. Gemberling denied throwing rocks when confronted by police, then became belligerent toward officers taking him into custody, Roddy said. Walmart Hiring 400 Employees For New Morris County Supercenter
Walmart will soon hire approximately 400 people to fill positions at the new Ledgewood Supercenter expected to open this fall at the Ledgewood Commons. Open positions include department managers, support managers, food associates, and receiving/stocking associates. : Emergency Construction Shuts Route 10 Both Ways In Denville
Route 10 will be closed in either direction Friday as a result of a water main break in Denville. On the eastbound side, the roadway is closed between Franklin Road and Mount Pleasant Turnpike, and one lane on the westbound side will be closed, local police said. Police did not have a timeline on the completion of emergency construction.

2 Denville Spa Workers Busted For Prostitution
A Denville spa had its business permit suspended after a pair of employees were charged with prostitution, authorities said. Julie Pak, 59, and Jizi Jin, 56, of June Spa were "engaging in prostitution" at the Route 10 business, Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said. June Spa is not affiliated with TG Nail & Spa located next door. Asian Island on Bloomfield Avenue had its permit revoked last June, having been a "chronic violator" of a township ordinance adopted in 2017 regulating massage, bodywork and somatic therapy facilities. An investigation into June Spa is under way, the Daily Record said.

: Car Flies Onto Route 10 Ramp After Pick-Up Towing It Crashes, Overturns
Traffic backed up along Route 10 eastbound in Hanover when a pick-up truck towing a vehicle carrier crashed into a guardrail and overturned, sending a car from the trailer onto the roadway Monday morning, authorities said. No injuries were reported in the 11 a.m. crash, which occurred on the 287 northbound exit ramp to Route 10, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. The highway had reopened as of 2:30 p.m.

Parsippany Street Reopens After Water Main Break Repairs
Ongoing water main repairs shut a part of South Beverwyck Road overnight Tuesday into Wednesday in Parsippany. UPDATE ** The road was reopened Wednesday afternoon ** Police posted a map of the closure to the road, which connects Route 46 to Route 10. The break happened on a portion of the main near Edgewood Court. Repairs began Tuesday night but were extended into Wednesday when crews found a second break in the main, authorities said.
