SUV Runs Off Hunterdon County Roadway, Slams Into Parked Subaru: State Police
A driver was taken to the hospital after an SUV veered off a Hunterdon County roadway and collided with a parked Subaru passenger vehicle on Tuesday night, Dec. 19, state police said. The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Pattenburg Road in Union Township, NJSP Det. I Jeffrey Lebron told Daily Voice. The Dodge SUV “lost directional control” before running off the road, through the guardrail, and colliding with a parked Subaru passenger vehicle, Lebron said. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries following the crash, which remains under investigation.

A Jersey Shore driver was killed when his tractor separated from its trailer and fell from a Route 287 overpass during an overnight crash, authorities said. Jose L. Police: Passaic Sheriff's Officer Takes Keys Of DWI Motorist Who Drove Onto Closed Bridge
A Passaic County sheriff’s officer had to pull the keys from a vehicle that a drunken West Milford man tried driving through a closed bridge construction site in the middle of the afternoon, authorities said. Brian Shand, 67, of Hewitt also refused to submit a breath sample, according to a police report. Township police were summoned by a sheriff’s officer on a traffic control detail on Union Valley Road.
