Newly released bodycam footage shows a July 2024 arrest of a DUI driver with a history of traffic offenses who fled the scene of a crash in Monmouth County. Transparency Bodycam published footage of the crash on July 22, involving a white 2017 Mercedes GLE that had struck a pole on Mitchell Place near Oakes Road in Little Silver. Hackettstown Man Lied About Assault: Denville PD
A Hackettstown man was arrested on Friday, Sept. 6 and charged with filing a false police report over an assault in Denville, authorities said. On Saturday, Aug. 31, officers began investigating a report that Edward Wess was assaulted by a group of people on Luger Road and his vehicle was damaged by a blunt object, Denville police said. Newly-released body-worn camera footage shows two New Jersey police officers saving a choking baby. Hightstown Officers Daniel Abbatemarco and Kenneth Larsen responded to a call of a choking baby girl on March 31. Upon arrival, they were met by a man holding the girl. A 28-year-old Morristown man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, Aug. 28 with assaulting a healthcare worker at a hospital in Denville, authorities said.
