Recall: Perdue's Organic Chicken Nuggets May Contain Wood Chips Perdue Foods and the USDA have recalled 68,244 pounds of frozen, fully-cooked organic gluten-free chicken nuggets that may contain wood. The recall is isolated to Perdue Simply Smart Organics brand Gluten Free chicken breast nuggets after customers called in saying they found pieces of wood in the chicken. The nuggets were produced in October 2018 with a "Best If Used By Date" of Oct. 25, 2019 and UPC product bar code of 72745-80656. The package also lists an Establishment number of "P-33944."
