Four patients were treated for contamination and one hospitalized after a hazardous chemical leak at a Morris County medical supply center, according to initial reports. The Morris County Haz-Mat unit responded with several EMS crews and the county medical ambulance bus to 10 Pomeroy Rd. in Parsippany shortly before 3 p.m., according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The address shows on Google Maps as Zimmer Biomet, a medical supplier of products for joint reconstruction, skeletal repair, spine and dental reconstruction. State Police: Honda Goes Up In Flames, Shuts Down Route 80 Exit Ramp In Morris County
A Honda Accord went up in flames on Route 80 Thursday morning, causing the temporary shutdown of an exit ramp in Morris County, state police said. The sedan caught fire just before 9:15 a.m. on the Exit 45 ramp of Route 80 eastbound in Parsippany, NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. The ramp was shut down for about an hour as crews doused the blaze and cleared the scene, Goez said. No injuries were reported.

Police: Morris County Man Charged With Vehicle Theft After Failing To Return Rental Car
A Parsippany man was charged with theft of a motor vehicle after failing to return a rental car from December, police said. Christopher Camisa rented a car from Nissan of Stanhope and failed to return it on Dec. 16, Byram Township Police said. Camisa was then caught driving the car — which had since been registered as stolen — in Parsippany on Jan. 12, police said. Camisa was arrested, charged with theft of a motor vehicle and released pending an appearance in Sussex County Superior Court.
