Popeyes Opening Jersey Shore Location
Popeyes is opening a location on the Jersey Shore. The fast-food eatery is slated to replaced the former Makoto restaurant in Stafford Square Plaza on Route 72 east, according to the Sand Paper. Popeyes could open this summer or later this year. Construction of a newly-approved Chick-fil-A and Panera Bread will begin will begin soon.

Wayne Shopping Center With 7 Tenants Could Open This Fall
A Wayne shopping center with seven tenants is expected to open its doors this October, reports say. The Parke at Hamburg occupies seven acres with Trader Joe’s occupying the most space, NorthJersey.com reports. The shopping center’s contractor, March Associates Construction Inc., is in the process of finishing up work on the building’s exterior, however, a grand opening date has not yet been set. Times Changing In Butler With Burger King Demolition
Times are changing in Butler with the demolition of Burger King. The Route 23 fast food joint that locals spent years eating and hanging out at came down last Wednesday to make room for a new strip mall. Residents lamented the news in a Facebook group, remembering fire department carnivals in the parking lot and the burgers that fueled late nights out. Construction will soon begin on a 5,000-square-foot Panera Bread, 5,000-square-foot Wawa and 14,900-square-foot CVS pharmacy, the DailyRecord says.
