A Chevrolet SUV was making a lane change in front of Ryan Gaskill, of Pennsauken, who was heading south on the interstate at milepost 1.1 in Gloucester around 9:40 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Jacobs was on his way home from work when he was killed in a motorcycle crash on Monday, June 24 on Route 46 in Mount Olive. UPDATE: A New Jersey police officer did nothing wrong in pursuing a stolen motorcycle whose driver ended up dying in a subsequent crash, a grand jury has ruled. Motorcyclist, 36, Seriously Injured In Route 80 Crash
A 36-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Route 80. The Hopatcong man was heading west when he struck the back of a Honda SUV on his Harley Davidson near milepost 50.2 in Fairfield, around 9:55 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. A 44-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 280 in Parsippany overnight on Friday, Oct. 27, state police confirmed. Jason M. Otero was riding a Harley Davidson eastbound when the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, hit a concrete barrier, and overturned near milepost 0.5 in Parsippany-Troy Hills shortly before 1:15 a.m., New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron told Daily Voice. A 20-year-old motorcyclist died in a Sussex County crash over the weekend, State Police said. Ryan Woodstead was heading south on Route 23 in Montague on his Yamaha motorcycle when he collided with a Chrysler Pacifica making a lefthand turn, around 5:20 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said.
