Cops ID Victim Killed In Head-On Route 23 Crash With Ford F150
Authorities have released the identity of the person killed in a crash on Route 23 earlier this week. Hamid Shabuddin, 55, of Paterson was a passenger in a 2005 Toyota Camry that collided head-on with a 2021 Ford F-150 at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in the northbound lanes in Riverdale, a spokesperson for the prosecutor's office said. Shabbudin was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the Camry was taken to a hospital. Vehicle Overturns In Woods Off Route 80:

A driver was hospitalized after his vehicle overturned on Route 80 in Morris County on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 10, authorities said. The driver of a Nissan Rogue lost control of his vehicle while driving on Route 80 East in Mount Olive Township, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The car veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned into the woods, Marchan said. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

Two Men Busted Stealing Tires From Morris County Tire Center: Police
Two me were arrested after they were caught taking tires from a tire center in Morris County on Monday, Oct. 7, authorities said. A 61-year-old Towaco resident was sentenced to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty sexually assaulting a young boy over the course of 10 years, authorities said. Juan Fernandez performed multiple sexual acts on the boy from when he was six years old until he was 16, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. A vehicle went off the roadway on Route 80 in Morris County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 7, authorities said. The vehicle left the roadway on Route 80 eastbound at Exit 47A in Parsippany-Troy Hills, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. One lane is closed, the Department of Transportation said. A group of ski-masked men including one homicide suspect are in police custody after officers stopped them and found 25 stolen checks in the vehicle early Friday, Oct. 4 in Morris County, police said.
