Two Injured In Route 521 Crash:

Two people were injured in a two-car crash on Route 521 South in Sussex County on Friday, Oct. 25, authorities said. At 7:53 a.m., two passenger vehicles collided in a head-on crash on County Road 521 South in Montague Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A third vehicle struck debris from the prior collision, Lebron said. The two drivers involved in the head-on collision sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Motorcyclist, 39, Killed In Sussex County Crash
A 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Sussex County crash over the weekend. Frank Jimeno, of West New York, was heading north on Route 23 on a KTM motorcycle when he veered off the side of the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail in Montague Township at milepost 50 Sunday, Oct. 6 around 10:30 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Jimeno died as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation.

A 56-year-old Parsippany man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Mercedes Benz on County Route 650 in Sussex County on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 8, authorities said. At 10:20 a.m., Sung Yi was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound when it crashed into a Mercedes Benz at the intersection of County Route 650 and County Route 675 in Montague Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Two Injured In Motorcycle-Car Crash In Sussex County:

Two people were injured when a motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle in Sussex County on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 15, authorities said. At 11:41 a.m., the crash between a Honda motorcycle and a Hyundai passenger vehicle occurred on Deckertown Turnpike between Clove Road and River Road in Montague Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and the crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Motorcyclist Injured In Sussex County Weekend Crash, Police Say
A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries in a Sussex County crash over the weekend, authorities said. The Harley Davidson operator was heading east on County Route 650 when they lost control, ran off the roadway and struck a tree around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. It happened in Montague Township at milepost 5, Lebron said. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation.

Victim Airlifted As Toyota Slams Into Pole In Sussex County: State Police
One person was flown to a nearby hospital after a Toyota veered off the roadway and struck a pole in Sussex County, state police confirmed. A Toyota Camry slammed into the pole after veering off the roadway near 331 River Rd. in Montague Township around 3:25 p.m. on Monday, June 20, NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told DailyVoice.com. One occupant was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Slota said. Additional details were not released.

Prosecutor: Jersey City Man, 28, Pleads Guilty To Meth Possession Charge In Sussex County
A Jersey City man pleaded guilty to possession of meth in Sussex County, authorities said. Charles Burbeng, 28, entered the guilty plea to an indictment for third-degree possession of CDS and a driving while suspended offense during a hearing Thursday at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, Prosecutor Francis A. Koch said. Burbeng admitted to possessing meth tablets and driving with a suspended license in Montague Township on Jan. 25, 2019, Koch said. Burbeng will be sentenced on June 3. New Jersey State Trooper J.C. Rodriguez also assisted with the investigation.
