A former New Jersey resident is facing charges in a golf cart crash that killed a bride and injured her groom on their wedding night. Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, a Hunterdon County native, is being held in a South Carolina jail nearly two weeks after she drunkenly rear-ended the golf cart that 34-year-old Samantha Miller and her husband, Aric Hutchinson, were riding in, in Folly Beach, SC. Prosecutor: Drug Dealer Charged In Central Jersey Overdose Death
A 31-year-old drug dealer from Monmouth County has been charged in connection with a fatal drug overdose, authorities said. Lateef Reevey, 31, of Long Branch, was arrested in connection with the fatal overdose death of 25 year-old Lucy Yardley of Flanders, who died on Feb. 21 in Tinton Falls. Reevey was charged with first-degree crime strict liability for drug-induced death, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said. Prosecutor: '16 Shots Fired' Before Asbury Park Police Arrived; Victim Critically Hurt
At least 16 shots were fired in Asbury Park late Wednesday, leaving an unidentified man critically injured, authorities said. Police officers arriving at 1331 Sewall Ave. about 10:17 p.m. on Wednesday found a man with five gunshot wounds, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
