Ex-Long Branch Police Officer Admits Having Basement Meth Lab: Prosecutor
A former Long Branch police officer admitted making methamphetamine at his home, authorities said. Christopher Walls, 40, was arrested in May during a domestic dispute, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced. He pleaded guilty on Tuesday before Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Jill G. O’Malley to charges of causing a risk of widespread injury and manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance, Linskey said. A 22-year New Jersey law enforcement veteran on Monday admit to skipping scanner payments at local home improvement stores, stealing nearly $600 in home goods. Monmouth County corrections officer Suzanne Simone, 53, pleaded guilty before Judge Ellen Torregossa-O’Connor to fourth degree Shoplifting in connection with multiple instances where she failed to pay for items at Target and Home Depot stores in Ocean Township and West Long Branch, authorities announced. A 24-year-old Howell woman wanted in the deaths of four stolen farm puppies was taken into custody after nearly three months at large on Friday with help from U.S. Marshals agents, authorities said. Tricia Jaccoma and Daniel McDonald, 25, were charged with animal cruelty in June after four German Shepherd puppies were found dead on a Howell campsite, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J.
