Phillipsburg Man Used 3D Printer To Manufacture Handgun, Ammo: Prosecutor A 40-year-old Phillipsburg man is facing charges for using a 3D printer to manufacture a firearm and ammunition, authorities said.  A search of Michael Weaver's home on Monday, Aug. 26, turned up two 3D printers, a 9mm handgun, thousands of rounds of multi-caliber ammunition, and equipment to manufacture such ammunition, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said. Weaver has been charged with manufacturing a firearm using a 3D printer; unlawful possession of a weapon; and certain person not to have a weapon or ammunition.

Dust Unit Fire Damages Medical Manufacturing Machinery At Stryker Complex In Mahwah UPDATE: Mahwah firefighters doused a stubborn blaze that broke out early Sunday afternoon in a pair of dust collection bins at the Stryker complex off Route 17. Township firefighters were quickly at the scene of the 12:30 p.m. blaze.  They had it knocked down within 20 minutes, but it continued to burn for another 20 minutes or so before it was out. Some machinery used to make hip and knee replacements was severely damaged.
