Three firefighters were sent to a nearby hospital after a floor collapsed while they were battling a blaze in the Lehigh Valley area, authorities said. The Palmer Municipal Fire Department responded to a two-alarm house fire in Lower Nazareth Township just after 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, the squad said. Several deep sinkholes and crumbling surfaces have caused an indefinite shutdown of a Lehigh Valley roadway. The sinkholes emerged on Hollo Road west of the Schoeneck Creek bridge in Palmer Township on Thursday, August 4, a release from Lower Nazareth Township said. Recognize them? Authorities are seeking the public’s help identifying two men they say stole a pair of iPhones from a Lehigh Valley Walmart. Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man caught on surveillance footage stealing a wallet from a Lehigh Valley Walmart. The wallet was left in a self-checkout lane by a customer at the Lower Nazareth Township store before the man picked it up and left on Oct. 7, Colonial Regional Police said. Police in Northampton County are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who they say went on a shopping spree with credit cards he took from a wallet he found in a Wawa parking lot. The man, pictured above, picked up a wallet that had been dropped in the parking lot of Wawa on Route 248 and Route 33 in Lower Nazareth Township on Monday, Nov. 9, Colonial Regional Police said.
