She was in a hospital bed at Jacobi Medical Center hours after the accident when she realized, her baby was missing. An anonymous tip line also was established to report any sightings of Ondrea, the 14-month-old black and tan German shepherd who reportedly bolted on June 24 after pushing through an exterior door with a broken latch at the Wantage home of a volunteer puppy raiser. Ondrea is fully grown -- about 50 pounds. Leonia police said Friday that they were looking into why the women took the dog and why it took so long to return him.
