A 30-year-old New Brunswick resident died after driving into Lake Nelson, authorities said. Alquan Green was driving north on Metlars Lane at 6:51 p.m. Saturday, May 13 when his SUV crashed through a guardrail and landed in the lake, Piscataway officials said. Man Critical After Jumping From 2nd Story Window Of Jersey City Home
A man who plunged out of a second-story window over the weekend was in critical condition as of Monday, officials said. Police observed the 46-year-old man jump out of the window at 12 Wegman Ct., around 1 p.m. on Jan. 2, Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace Scalcione said. Police in Byram jumped to action to save the life of a 60-year-old man who had stopped breathing and had no pulse after choking on food Tuesday afternoon. Sgt. Daniel DeWald, Officer Victor Marin and Officer Marcus Lisa started to perform CPR on the man at a home in Byram around 12:30, authorities said. The officers then attached an automatic external defibrillator and were able to successfully remove “a large quantity of food” from the man’s airway, authorities said. Elderly Man Fights Off Raccoon Walking Dogs In Hunterdon County Park
An elderly man walking his dogs was attacked by a raccoon in a Hunterdon County park over the weekend. The animal bit the 79-year-old man's pants legs and refused to let go in Christie Hoffman Farm Park in Tewksbury, around 7 p.m. Friday, Chief Tim Barlow said.
