Police ID Porsche Driver, 41, Killed In NJ Crash A 41-year-old North Brunswick man was killed when he crashed a Porsche in Linden the evening of Friday, June 14, authorities said. At 6:45 p.m., a Porsche Boxter driven by Justin Harmon lost control while traveling south on S. Park Avenue and veered into the northbound lane, Linden police said.  The vehicle struck a utility pole and continued off the roadway before colliding with a parked cargo trailer, police said. Harmon was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau.

Police ID Scooter Operator Killed By Car In NJ A man on an electric scooter died after he became trapped underneath a vehicle that struck him in Union County on Wednesday, March 20, police said. Lamar McBride, 46, was heading south in the northbound lanes of N. Wood Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle turning onto E. Gibbons Street in Linden around 2:30 p.m, Linden police said. McBride became trapped under the vehicle, which was lifted by the city's firefighters. Staten Island Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Linden Crash A 37-year-old Staten Island motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries in a Linden crash Tuesday, June 28, authorities said. The man was struck by a Jeep Cherokee leaving the CVS parking lot at 1000 W. St. George Avenue onto N. Stiles Street around 7 p.m., local police said. The motorcyclist was in serious condition while the Jeep driver, 26, was not injured.
