House Fire Doused In Fair Lawn
Firefighters in Fair Lawn quickly doused a destructive house blaze before noon on Wednesday. No injuries were reported in the Kipp Street fire, which Fair Lawn Fire Chief Jacob Mamo said broke out in the kitchen of a 1½-story home just off Plaza Road near the Berdan Avenue exit off northbound Route 208 shortly after 10:30 a.m. June 21. Driver Hospitalized In Fair Lawn Crash
A driver was hospitalized after her sedan slammed into a utility pole Wednesday afternoon in Fair Lawn. A passenger escaped injury after the Infiniti slammed into the pole in the 1600 block of Kipp Street. The Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps took the driver to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening. A tow truck removed the sedan.

Sedan Slams Into Utility Pole In Fair Lawn
No serious injuries were reported after a two-car crash sent one into a telephone pole in Fair Lawn. A Nissan Altima got the worst of it, slamming head-on into the pole on Plaza Road between Berdan Avenue and Kipp Street shortly before 1 a.m. The Altima had to be towed.
