Staten Island Motorcyclist, 27, Killed In Route 287 Crash A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Staten Island died in a weekend crash on Route 287 in Somerset County, authorities said. Durmish Golesh was heading north on a Kawasaki when he rear-ended a Hyundai, overturned, and struck the back of an Infiniti around 11:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 in Far Hills, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Golesh was thrown from the bike and died, Lebron said. No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation.

Motorcyclist, 23, Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Sussex County Embankment: State Police A 23-year-old man was seriously injured after his motorcycle veered off the highway and into an embankment over the weekend, state police said. The Passaic man was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Route 23 when it ran off the right, overturned, and hit an embankment near milepost 49.1 in Montague around 6 p.m. Saturday, August 26, NJSP SFC Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries, Curry added. The crash remains under investigation. No further details were released.

Dirt Bike Rider Killed In Jersey Shore Crash With Jeep Authorities are seeking witnesses of a collision that killed a 40-year-old dirt bike rider in Monmouth County Friday, Oct. 14. Clifford Walton was operating the Kawasaki dirt bike that collided with a Jeep Cherokee on Arlington Avenue and Gordon Street in Aberdeen around 6 p.m., Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said. Walton was rushed to Bayshore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 6:45 p.m. The driver of the SUV, 34, remained on the scene and was not seriously injured. Motorcyclist, 19, Rear-Ended, Killed In I-195 Crash: State Police A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he was rear-ended by an SUV on Interstate 195, authorities said. Mohammad A. Abbas was riding west near milepost 5.7 in Robbinsville at 8:41 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14 when a Nissan Rogue driven by Shannon B. Monsell, 34, of Ringoes struck his motorcycle from behind, New Jersey State Police said. Abbas, of Perth Amboy, was thrown from the Kawasaki bike and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.  The crash remains under investigation.

Dakotah Lewis, 26, was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Route 23 when he crossed over into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Ford Explorer near milepost 48 in Wantage Township just before 1:20 p.m., WRNJRadio reports citing NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez. Lewis, of Highland Mills, suffered serious injuries, while the Ford driver and passenger suffered minor injuries in the crash, which remains under investigation, Goez said.

'The Realest': NJ Motorcyclist, 27, Killed After Being Struck By Elderly Driver, Police Say A 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a South Jersey crash on Friday, authorities said. Brandon Agron was heading north on a Kawasaki motorcycle on Route 206 near Amboy Road when he was struck from behind by a 2016 Kia Sedan around 9:45 p.m., Bordentown Township police said. Agron, of Jobstown, was pronounced dead at the scene while the Kia driver -- John Tozzi -- 82, of Hamilton -- was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, police said. Agron sustained severe injuries as a result of the collision and was declared deceased at the scene. Condolences poured in for Agron. …

State Police: Woman, 25, Hospitalized After Motorcycle Collides With SUV In Hunterdon County A motorcycle rider was hospitalized after colliding with an SUV in Hunterdon County Sunday night, state police confirmed. The 25-year-old woman was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle on Route 22 when the vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe near the Hunterdon Hills Plaza in Lebanon shortly before 10 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. The woman was taken to Morristown Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Goez said. The Tahoe driver was uninjured in the crash, which remains under investigation.
