Barn Engulfed In Flames In Two-Alarm Sussex County Fire: Colesville FD A two-alarm fire caused a barn to be consumed by flames in Sussex County on Monday, Jan. 6, authorities said. At 11:39 a.m., troopers and firefighters responded to the structure fire on Coykendall Road in Wantage Township and found a barn fully engulfed in flames, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Due to the amount of fire, a 2nd alarm was tolled, requesting additional manpower to the scene, the Colesville Fire Department said.  No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Driver Injured After Truck Hauling Coconut Oil Overturns On Route 80: Njsp A driver was injured after his truck overturned on Route 80 in Morris County the early morning of Tuesday, Dec. 18, authorities said. At 2:53 a.m. on Route 80 west in Mount Arlington, a tanker truck hauling coconut oil veered off the roadway and overturned, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.  The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Dog Bites Troopers On Route 80: Njsp A loose dog was a little overzealous on Route 80 in Warren County on Tuesday, May 28, authorities said. Troopers responded to a report of a dog running on Route 80 eastbound in Allamuchy Township, Jeffrey Lebron a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. When troopers and civilians tried to capture the dog, they were bitten, Lebron said. The troopers and civilians suffered minor injuries, Lebron said. The dog was captured and turned over to nearby animal control, Lebron said.

Smith, 51, of Randolph, was riding an Aprilia motorcycle near 53 Bald Eagle Rd. in Allamuchy when it veered off the right side of the road and overturned around 10:30 p.m., NJSP Det. Jeffrey Lebron told Daily Voice. Smith was killed in the crash, which remains under investigation, Lebron said.
