Police initially began investigating Michael Figueroa for drugs, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Morris County Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Jefferson Township Police Chief Paul Castimore said.  A search of his home turned up much more: Handguns, a rifle, 11 bricks of heroin, a bag of cocaine, ammunition and a digital scale, authorities said. Driver Killed In Jefferson Township Route 15 Crash One person was killed in a single-car crash on Route 15 in Morris County on Sunday, May 19, authorities said. Jefferson Township police responded to the southbound side of the roadway near mile post 3.5 around 1:25 a.m., Jefferson Township Police Capt. Robert Bush said. The vehicle was occupied only by the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Jefferson Twp. The checkpoint will be enforced Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 by members of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and the Jefferson Township Police Department, Acting Morris County Prosecutor Robert J.
