The body of a 31-year-old man was pulled from a vehicle that had plunged into the Delaware Raritan Canal over the weekend, police said. Police were called to Canal and Grouser roads on Saturday, Aug. 24 around 12:25 p.m. after a kayaker saw a 2024 Honda Civic in the river, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said. School Bus Crash Leaves 10 Kids, 1 Adult Injured In Hunterdon County: Police
Ten children and one adult were injured in a school bus crash Sunday, Aug. 25 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey State Police said. The bus was heading south on State Highway 31 in Glen Gardner, when the driver lost control at milepost 37.5 around 3:10 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Police ID 16-Year-Old Dead In NJ Wreck
Police have identified the victim of a crash early Thursday, Aug. 22 in Hunterdon County as a 16-year-old girl. Sophia Detorres, of Franklin Township, was a passenger in a three-vehicle crash around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hogback Road and Lower Lansdown Road, the county prosecutor's office announced. A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Parsippany Monday evening, Aug. 19, authorities said. Police recovered a body from a New Jersey river early Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said. Marine Service Troopers were dispatched to the Raritan River and South River in East Brunswick around 7:40 a.m., where they found a man's body floating in the water, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
