Google is facing a lawsuit from one of its former directors, a New Jersey dad, alleging discrimination and retaliation from another director who allegedly harassed him at a company dinner in 2019. Ryan Olohan, 48, of Morris County, alleges in the suit he was fired from the massive company after another director rubbed his stomach and told him she knew he liked Asian women at a company dinner in 2019, according to a copy of the lawsuit published by Bloomberg Law. Morris County Mom Joan Jennings Was Pioneer For Women In Engineering, 58
The Morris County community is mourning the loss of local mom and engineering industry pioneer Joan Susan Jennings. Jennings, 58, died after a long battle with cancer on August 4, her obituary says. A resident of Chatham, Jennings graduated from Scotch Plains Fanwood High School in 1980 and earned an engineering degree from Lafayette College in 1984, where she was one of the few female engineering majors in her class. Kristen Feeney died on Feb. 22 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. She was 52. Raised in New Randolph, Kristen graduated from Randolph High School in 1985, her obituary says. Kristen went on to attend Arcadia University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources in 1989. She worked as a management recruiter at Chubb Institute and as a team member at Feeney Associates, the family food business, according to her obituary. Bergen County Native, EMT Amy Baker 'Always Put Others First -- Even During Cancer Battle'
Fair Lawn native Amy Baker died on Sept. 17 after a long and courageous cancer battle. She was 46 years old. Baker had been living in Rockaway Borough with her beloved husband, Harry III, and children, Melissa and Harry IV. "Her courage and strength were admired by all who knew her," Baker's obituary says. "She always put others first, even while battling her own illness." Baker worked as a human resources manager for the Parsippany-Troy Hills library until 2011. Previously, she worked with the Garfield and Saddle Brook Ambulance Corps. Interment was held at Beth-El Cemetery.
