State, county and local authorities smashed a major drug mill, seizing $1.65 million worth of heroin, cocaine and crystal meth in a pair of quick-strike raids at Paterson locations only blocks apart.
Felix Rodriguez, 40, was running the drug mill from an apartment on East 26th Street when authorities came calling, a group of law enforcement officials led by New Jersey Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin said.
Tactical officers with the State Police and Passaic County Sheriff’s SWAT team simultaneously hit that location and Rodriguez’s 28th Street apartment, the attorney general said.

A dealer from Woodland Park was nabbed with nearly a quarter pound of cocaine, a dozen bundles of heroin and more after detectives watched him in action, Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik said.

A trio in stolen BMW with heavy tints and the "SOS" button ripped from the ceiling had outstanding warrants and heroin, authorities said.
Officers in the Secaucus Police Department's Anti-Crime Unit were patrolling near the Rodeway Inn Motel on Route 3, around 9:05 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, when they noticed a 2021 BMW 540i pull into the parking lot, Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

Three men from Mercer County were arrested and hit with drug charges for allegedly selling heroin in a Hunterdon County parking lot, authorities said Thursday.
Khyzir Davis, 18, of Trenton, was charged with one count of third-degree distribution of heroin, while Malik Wade, 25, of Trenton, and Garfield Anderson, 20, of Ewing, were charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute heroin, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson said.

Paul Smith III was charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin, second-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine, two counts of distributing heroin, and obstruction, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said.

Two New York State men who’d apparently driven well over an hour to Paterson in an unregistered, uninsured car to buy drugs were charged with heroin and crack possession following a Fair Lawn traffic stop, authorities said.
Officer Brad Pindyck stopped the two on Loretto Avenue at Lincoln Avenue after spotting the driver texting, Sgt. Brian Metzler said.
