George Santos Is Out: Here's How NJ Delegates Voted
New Jersey's congressional delegation all shared the same sentiment when it comes to Rep. George Santos. They wanted him out, and they got it. The serial fabulist (R-Long Island) was expelled by the US House 311-114, with all 12 New Jersey representatives, including three Republicans, voting in favor of his ouster. The resolution required a two-thirds majority vote in order to pass. Santos was expelled amid mounting accusations of criminality. He is only the sixth member of Congress to be expelled in American history. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-Dennis), Rob Menendez (D-Jersey City) and Ch…

? Thief Snatches $10,000 Handbag From Tenafly Boutique
It happened in a blink: A man who at first looked like a browsing customer suddenly snatched a $10,000 handbag from a Tenafly store and ran off with it, authorities said. It was shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday when the thief wandered around a bit and then grabbed the Hermès handbag from a display at Mint, Capt. Michael deMoncada said. He ran from the upscale vintage consignment shop that’s been at the corner of West Railroad and Washington Street the past 20 years, and now police are hoping someone either saw him or has valuable surveillance video. The thief was described as black, about 5-…

': Alpine Country Club Turns Lawsuit On Waiter Who Spilled Wine On Member's $30K Bag
An Alpine Country Club member who filed a lawsuit against the club last month after a waiter spilled wine on her $30,000 handbag says she is appalled that the club is turning the suit on the waiter. Maryana Beyder in a lawsuit last month said the waiter's spill ruined her discontinued Hermes Kelly bag. When she found out this month the elite club was suing the waiter -- identified in court papers only as John Doe -- she was stunned, her attorney said. "It has absolutely nothing to do with the waiter, we were not trying to collect any money from the waiter,” Beyder's attorney Alexandra Erri…
