Lawsuit Was Filed Against Truck Driver Days Before He Died In New Jersey Crash, Records Show
A Bogota man killed in a Route 17 crash earlier this month was facing a civil lawsuit for an unrelated car accident that allegedly caused serious injuries, court records show.
Edwin B. Coreas, the 30-year-old driver killed in the Thursday, March 6, Hasbrouck Heights crash, was named in a civil action filed in Bergen County Superior Court just days before his death, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice. Coreas also has 10 pages of violations in the New Jersey court system, many of which are traffic offenses.

'Mrs. Maisel' Actor Sent Sexual Messages To 14-Year-Old In North Jersey: Sources
A 31-year-old actor and Hawthorne resident was arrested and charged on Thursday, Oct. 10, with sending sexual messages to a 14-year-old girl, Daily Voice has learned.
Matthew Kresch sent the text messages to the girl as part of an attempt to lure her into having sex, Hawthorne police said. He was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of luring.
Kresch, whose birthday was Sunday, Oct. 13, co-directed the horror film "Alone Together" with his brother, William, and played a bartender on two episodes of "The Incredible Mrs. Maisel," IMDB shows.

John Zisa, a football coach throughout North Jersey, died on Sunday May 19, at the age of 61, according to his obituary.
Zisa was born and raised in Paterson and moved to Fair Lawn in 1974, his obituary reads. He coached for more than 26 years at Paterson Catholic, Paramus Catholic, Rutherford and Westwood, according to his coaching biography.
