Most Expensive Homes Sold In Morris County In Last 30 Days
A $2.74 million house tops the list of most expensive homes sold in Morris County in the last 30 days, according to Zillow. According to Redfin, home prices were up 10.8% compared to last year, in September 2024, selling for a median price of $665,000. On average, homes in Morris County sold after 20 days on the market compared to 21 days last year, Redfin said. Ford Driver Suffers Medical Emergency Following Morris County Crash: State Police
A Ford driver suffered a medical emergency following a crash on Route 287 in Morris County, state police said. A Ford Fusion was struck by a tractor-trailer in the southbound lanes near milepost 30.8 in Harding just after 5:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told DailyVoice.com. The tractor-trailer then left the scene, Curry said. The Ford driver was not hurt in the crash but suffered a brief medical emergency, police said. The driver refused treatment and drove away from the scene of the crash. Additional details were not released.

There's certainly a feather in Harding patrolman Mike Resciniti's cap now. The officer helped corral a runaway peacock on Sheepfield Farms Drive last Saturday. The pheasant lives on Baileys Mill Road became frightened by another animal and took off around 1:45 p.m., Chief Erik Heller said. A nearby resident called in a wandering pheasant, bringing Resciniti to the scene. More Than 2,000 Without Power In Morris County
More than 2,000 people were without power in Morris County Monday afternoon, according to JCP&L. The restoration time of 4 p.m. was listed on the JCP&L website. Approximately 2,200 JCP&L customers were without power as of 4:40 p.m. in Morristown, Morris Township, Harding and Mendham.

: Harding Man Dragged, Threatened Death, Hit Driver In Face With Hammer, Police Say
A 50-year-old Harding man was arrested after threatening to kill another driver and hitting him in the face with a hammer then dragging him, authorities said. Victor Henriques was on Lake Trail West in Mt. Kemble Lake on June 22 around 6:05 p.m. when the apparent assault took place, Harding Police Chief Erik Heller said. Henriques was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and unlawful weapon possession. He was issued a summons and released pending an appearance in Morris County Superior Court.

Harding PD: Family's Sheep Found Shot Dead, Another Seriously Injured
Authorities were seeking the person who shot a pair of sheep belonging to a Harding family, injuring one and killing the other. Police responded to the Cherry Lane home Saturday where family members told them two of their 14 sheep had been shot sometime overnight, Harding Police Chief Erik Heller said. Police believe someone trespassed overnight with a weapon and shot the animals, the chief said. One was dead and the other transported to a local animal hospital with serious injuries, he said. Rolling Car Strikes Woman, 88, Lands In Lake
An 88-year-old Harding woman was reaching into her running vehicle when it rolled down her driveway and into Mt. Kemble Lake Wednesday morning, authorities said. The car may not have been in park when it struck the woman and rolled over a grass embankment and into the nearby lake around 10:30 a.m., Harding Police Chief Erik Heller said. The car was fully recovered around 4 p.m. with help from Parsippany and Boonton divers, along with Morris County HazMat, Heller said.
