Chain Reaction: Out-Of-Control SUV Rams Minivan, Pins Woman Against Guardrail In Route 17 Lot A woman was seriously injured when an SUV driven by an elderly motorist slammed into a minivan that then hit her in a Route 17 supermarket parking lot, witnesses said. The victim apparently suffered severe leg trauma when the minivan pinned her against a guardrail in the H Mart parking lot in Paramus on the northbound highway around 10 p.m. Sunday, they said. American Dream Will Have 35,000-Square-Foot H Mart Rejoice, H Mart fans: The beloved Asian-American grocer is coming to the American Dream. H Mart will occupy a 35,000-square-foot space and will be the first location in New Jersey to have a "Let Them Talk Bar and Stage" with live music, cocktails and weekly entertainment events. The supermarket will also have its popular "Market Eatery" food hall concept with dozens of options to choose from and an on-site bakery. American Dream is slated to open in October.

Handgun, Ammo Found In Ridgefield Clothing Bin A handgun and several rounds of ammunition were found tossed into a charity clothing bin in Ridgefield early Monday, authorities said. An employee with Planet Aid summoned police to the H Mart shopping plaza on Broad Avenue just after 8 a.m., Police Chief Thomas J. Gallagher said. While emptying the bin, the employee said, he found a black nylon carrying case that “felt unusually heavy for clothing or shoes,” Gallagher said. "So he opened it.” Inside he found a Star Arms semi-automatic .45-caliber handgun, along with several rounds of ammunition, the chief said. Police seized the weapon …
