Federal agents united with local and county law enforcers to disarm several members of one of Paterson’s most violent street gangs. Members of the “UpTop” crew packed heat while slinging heroin and pot in the urban war zone that is the Silk City’s 4th Ward, authorities said. A Hudson County gang leader must spend the next 22 years in a federal penitentiary for trafficking heroin and fentanyl into a New Jersey state prison.
