2 Seriously Hurt In Overnight Route 78 Crash
Two drivers were seriously hurt in an overnight crash on Route 78, authorities said. A Ford F-350 heading east entered the shoulder and struck a Ford Crown Victoria stopped in the right shoulder around 12:50 a.m. near milepost 21.1 in Clinton Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said. Both drivers sustained serious injuries. Unconfirmed reports say at least one was airlifted.

Jogger Struck By Jersey City Police Car: Prosecutor
A 44-year-old jogger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a police car in Jersey City earlier this week, authorities said. The police officer reported hitting the jogger near JErsey Avenue and Aetna Street while responding to a call around 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center to be treated for a serious, but not life-threatening injury to a lower extremity. Authorities Seek Police Impersonator Wanted For Pulling Over NJ Drivers
Authorities have released a composite sketch of a man who they say impersonated police and pulled over New Jersey drivers. A victim was stopped by a man in a black, older model Ford Crown Victoria and activated a blue dome light on the front dashboard in Brick Township around 2 p.m. on Aug. 1, New Jersey State Police said. When the victim pulled over, the man approached her vehicle and identified himself as a police officer. After a brief exchange, she became suspicious and asked him for identification.
