A crash involving three tractor-trailers brought traffic to a halt and caused minor injuries on Route 287 in Somerset County early on Monday, Sept. 18, state police confirmed. The crash occurred on the northbound side near milepost 13.2 in Bridgewater Township around 3:50 a.m., NJSP Det. I Jeffrey Lebron told Daily Voice. Driver Hospitalized After Striking Pole On Rt. 22 In Somerset County
A Route 22 driver was hospitalized after striking a pole off the highway during the evening on Sunday, July 9, responders said. The driver slammed into a pole on the eastbound side just after 8:10 p.m., the Finderne Fire Department said. The driver was treated at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital by the Somerville Rescue Squad. The crash is being investigated by the Bridgewater Police Department.

A pair of firefighters were treated for heat exposure while putting out a blaze that broke out at a manufacturing plant Monday in Hillsborough, officials said.
