Triple-Shooting Injures Teen, 2 Adults In South Jersey: Police
A teen and two adults were shot in South Jersey Sunday night, authorities said. Officers responding to gunshots on Parkway Avenue near Pennington Road in Ewing did not initially locate a scene but were then approached by a vehicle containing one of the shooting victims around 10:15 p.m., Ewing Police said in a Monday afternoon release. Police assisted the victim and learned that two other gunshot victims had been taken to Capital Health Hospital in Hopewell with a private vehicle. Alert Issued For Missing Mercer County Girl, 14
Police in Mercer County have issued an alert for a missing 14-year-old girl. Zahira Navedo was last seen near Country Lane in Ewing on Thursday, Ewing Police said. She was wearing a black and red tie-dye sweatsuit with black and multicolored shoes, according to police. Navedo is known to make frequent trips to Caldwalder Park in Trenton, as well as Berwyn Avenue, Groveland, Keswick and Ardsley Avenues in Ewing, police said. Anyone with information about Navedo’s whereabouts is urged to call 911.

Student Charged With Homicide After Stabbing Roommate
A College of New Jersey student was on a leave of absence when he stabbed his roommate during an off-campus fight over the weekend in what police are calling an attempted homicide. Joseph T. Walsh, 21 of Hazlet, was charged with unlawful weapon possession, terroristic threats, aggravated assault and more following last Sunday morning's incident in Ewing, Chief John P. Stemler III said. Police responded to the unit block of Crescent Avenue around 6:50 a.m., after a 9-1-1 caller reported a man with stab wounds banging on their door for help, Stemler said.
