A contractor was hospitalized after suffering a fall while working at a Morris County home, authorities said. The fall occurred at a property in Chester around on Tuesday, June 14, Police Lt. Ryan McNamee told DailyVoice.com. A medical helicopter was requested and later canceled, McNamee said. The contractor was taken via ground ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. A trapped victim had to be extricated by emergency crews following a two-car crash at an intersection in Parsippany, authorities said. The Parsippany District 5 Fire Department responded to the crash at Vail Road and North Beverwyck Road just before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13. Missing Elmwood Park Teen Found Hiding In Garage
UPDATE: Police and firefighters flooded a garden apartment complex in Elmwood Park and found a teen who'd been reported missing a short time earlier, authorities said. The responders searched the grounds and around the Elmwood Village Apartments for the 15-year-old, who went missing after an argument with her mother Tuesday afternoon April 12. They were checking garages when one of them heard a noise and found the teen hiding behind a car, said Police Chief Michael Foligno, who is also the borough administrator. EMS was checking her out before returning the teen to her mom, he said.

Two victims were extricated from a crumpled car and taken to a nearby trauma center following a deadly Tuesday afternoon crash in the Lehigh Valley, authorities said. Emergency crews responding to the crash on Freemansburg Avenue near Linden Street in Bethlehem Township found a vehicle that had slammed into a wall and telephone pole shortly before 12 p.m., the Nancy Run Fire Company said. A driver was hurt after crashing into a train car in the Lehigh Valley area early Friday, authorities said. The driver was heading north on South Delaware Drive in Lower Mount Bethel Township and struck the side of the last car of a train that was crossing near the 5700 block around 2:15 a.m., the local fire company said. A Wednesday morning rollover crash shut down Route 22 in Northampton County and sent both drivers to nearby hospitals, authorities said.
